Team Vikhyathmedia is happy to shoot one of the high profile weddings of this season. Malayalam film director Lal Jose’s daughter Irene got married to Joshua, son of Mathew Joshua, General Manager & Head of Corporate Communications, IBS Software Services. Presenting Joshua and Irene, #josireny, the fun couple, who had a beach themed pre-wedding party, a church wedding and a magnificent wedding reception at Girideepam Convention Centre, Trivandrum. Here is the first set of their church wedding in Trivandrum.
In the last two years, weddings have become intimate and special. From grand weddings which had 1000s of guests to something as small as an event that has barely 50 guests. It’s so wonderful to see everyone enjoying the special moments together.
Athira is one among three close friends who chose us to cover their weddings. Being in the wedding photography industry gives that privilege to be part of many families during their special occasions.
Sajith and Athira got married at Mount Carmel Convention Center, Trivandrum in an intimate wedding. The pre-wedding party saw Athira in a beautiful ensemble that reminds of traditional kasavu skirt with green chili. An amalgam of North Indian lehenga and South Indian Kasavu sari.
On the wedding day she decked up in a perfect rose kanjeevaram that breathed a fresh air to the typical red pattu saree for wedding. She looked as fresh as a dew, as pretty as a rose flower. A step or two classical dance steps just left us completely awestruck!
The groom, Sajith stands tall with his handsome posture and a well groomed beard. He came in a simple yet elegant beige kurta and mundu that’s perfect for a handsome groom.
The traditional Kerala Hindu Nair wedding rituals gave us some amazing moments of candid shots. What followed are the beautiful duo exchanging happy smiles in the traditional kasavu attire. Kerala Hindu weddings are unique as the bride and groom decks up in Kerala Saree and kasavu mundu respectively. The floral decor at the venue complimented the attira and we definitely captured some beautiful moments.
Gone are the times when brides shed copious tears when bidding adieu to her family on their wedding day. Today we she happy brides stepping into their new phase of life confident and happy. Athira, just like that, held Sajith’s hands and started their new journey together. We are happy to be part of this coming together documenting their wonderful turning point in their life.
Presenting the happy wedding highlights Video and wishing them a lifetime of love and togetherness.
Wishing the elegant couple a very happy married life.

People say, “Meeting the right person is critical for a lasting relationship”. Though it is difficult to find a perfect match, with some people we can get along despite the differences and some occasional fights. Anish and Aparna, both IT professionals, believe in this philosophy and went through various shades of relationship, whether it was love or anger, woe, or happiness, and finally decided to tie the wedlock.
The families were met, everyone seemed content and finalized the wedding day. Everyone was excited. Preparations started with hall booking and purchases. Suddenly an uninvited guest came – The Pandemic. The lockdown was imposed. Both families waited but in vain. They realized that the wedding was not going to happen on the initially planned date. Eventually, the wedding date got canceled.
When the restrictions were eased a bit, the families decided to go ahead with nuptial despite other restrictions. New dates were taken, new venues were decided, and the rest remained the same.
On the wedding day, the ambiance at Hycinth was calm and composed. With a smaller number of attendees mainly closely-knit relatives and friends, there was less commotion at the venue. But they had to perform new-age rituals such as wearing masks, social distancing, and sanitizing.
The phrase ‘simple is beautiful’ felt apt for the occasion. The groom arrived at the venue at 11.00 AM dressed up in the traditional Kerala style outfits. He was welcomed by the bride’s brother and relatives and escorted to the wedding dais (mandapam)
The bride reached the venue after 15 minutes. She was dressed up in an elegant Copper Zari Purple saree and looked vibrant. The ornated crimson tinted hands from the previous day’s Mehndi enhanced the beauty.
The bride had been escorted to the dais (mandapam). After performing the traditional rituals, she sat beside the groom. The stage decorated with rose petals gave a picturesque backdrop and enhanced the visual appeal.
At 12:00PM, the priest handed over the thali to the groom. He tied the knot while others chanted and threw flowers at the couple. There were a few more rituals and the groom put vermillion on the bride’s forehead symbolizing the nuptial.
There were a few more photo sessions. Then the bride changed her attire before the couple went for lunch. Aparna looked adorable in the new traditional Kerala style saree.
Finally, both the couple bid farewell to everyone and thus culminating the function. You are not finding a perfect match rather you are trying to become a perfect match by understanding each other’s differences and flaws. They embarked on a new journey.
Presenting the happy wedding highlights Video and wishing them a lifetime of love and togetherness.
